It been very long never posted anything in my blog!!
After back to uni from mid semester break, I been very busy preparing my studies and cultural concert stuffs. Every week either got assignments due, presentation, physiology practical, or tests. Up until today, still got 2 assignments to go before having final exam.I feel relieved after the cultural concert, Colours of Vesak had ended on 22 May 2010.Thanks to everyone effort have make the event so successful !! This is a unforgettable moment those who have involved in this event and good experience to organise it. After the concert, there are a lots positive feedback from the audience that the performance are great.
There are only 3 dances in this performance, one of the dance steps were very hard but they manage to pull it off and performed well on that day. All the dance were awesome !! Thanks to our choreographer Sumin and dancers (Bernice,Su Yi,Sin Lin, Zoe, En Ni, Ming Lin, Chi Kin, Shee Hwa, Darren)
As for props in the overall performance also play an important role. Due the rules and regulations are very strict in Australia, we have decided not to make any backdrops. The props group members done well in creating the props where they have to build 2 trees, an elephant with 6 tusks, swan and others. All these props help to make our play more colourful on stage.
Besides, some of the costumes were custom made by aunties and Jia. Our stories is based on Indian settings, most of us now have know how to wear Indian costume. Haha =P Not to forget our hairstylists and make up artists that help us to styling hair and make up. The sound effects done by technical assistants were good too.
Oh well, after this event over where everyone and more times to focus on their studies as final exam is coming soon... All the best in preparing final exam !!
I will have mine exam start on 24 June and end on 2 July.
